How to Enter
There are two (2) methods of entry into the contest:
(1) Facebook: By commenting and tagging 2 friends the EditCon News post published on Mondays on the CCE Facebook page; and
(2) Instagram: By commenting and tagging 2 friends the EditCon News post published on Mondays on the CCE Instagram page.
No purchase necessary. Contest runs February 8, 2021 to February 12, 2021; February 15, 2021 to February 19, 2021. Limit of two (2) entries per person per week; one (1) per social media platform. This contest is intended for residents of Canada and will be interpreted according to Canadian law.
The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram.
An Entry that contains subject matter that, in the opinion of the contest administrators may violate community standards or is otherwise of questionable taste will be considered void. The CCE does not accept entries for this contest by any other means.
The Prize
There will be three (3) prizes awarded weekly; 9 prizes total. Winners will receive the following prize:
One (1) CCE Tote Bag
Prize must be accepted as awarded, is not transferable and cannot be exchanged with the CCE for cash. CCE reserves the right to substitute the Prize which is, in their sole opinion, a prize of equivalent value and/or to terminate or withdraw this contest at any time. The chances of winning are dependent upon the total number of eligible entries received.
Eligibility
To be eligible to win, entries must be received on or before the closing date of Friday, February 5, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. EST; Friday, February 12, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. EST; and/or Friday, February 19, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. EST. This contest is open to all residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority according to the laws of the Province where they reside.
The Draw
Each winner will be announced through a video draw posted on the CCE Facebook and Instagram pages on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 10 a.m. EST; Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 10 a.m. EST; and Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 10 a.m. EST. The selected entrant will be notified by private message on Facebook or Instagram immediately following the draw. If the selected entrant does not respond back to the contest administrator within one (1) business day or if the selected entrant does not comply with all contest rules, another entrant will be selected from the remaining eligible entries.
The winning entrants must provide a valid mailing address to the CCE in order to receive their prize.
Entries
All entries become the property of the CCE. The CCE assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected entries or for any failure of Facebook or Instagram or for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer online systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any Facebook or Instagram message, e-mail or entry to be received by the CCE on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from this contest. The CCE reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, cancel or suspend this contest should a virus, bug or other cause beyond the reasonable control of the CCE’s for any other reason at any time without prior notice.
Entries submitted by unauthorized means or by spamming will be disqualified. In the event that it has been determined that an entry has been made in a manner not sanctioned by these rules, the entrant and all of his/her entries will be disqualified. Entrants agree to abide by the contest rules and the decisions of the contest judges, which are final. This contest is subject to all applicable laws and regulations.
Privacy
By entering the contest, entrants consent to the use of their names, city of residence, photograph, voice and/or image for publicity purposes in all media used by the CCE, without payment or compensation. Entrants agree to the terms of this contest. Entrants will not be contacted outside the aforementioned guidelines of the contest.
