Lara Mazur is an award-winning Canadian film and television editor. Lara approaches the craft of editing as a collaborative effort, weaving artistry and performance into the fabric of the story. She began her career as an apprentice editor with the National Film Board of Canada in Winnipeg, and, for over three decades, has moved seamlessly between documentary and scripted stories.\u00a0<\/p><p>Lara has collaborated with some of Canada\u2019s top directors and producers, bringing stories with universal themes to audiences around the world on shows such as: Chris Haddock\u2019s \u201c<i>DaVinci\u2019s Inquest<\/i>\u201d and \u201c<i>Intelligence<\/i>\u201d; \u201c<i>Strange Empire<\/i>\u201d and \u201c<i>Arctic Air<\/i>\u201d; Norma Bailey\u2019s \u201c<i>Daughters of the Country<\/i>\u201d, \u201c<i>Bordertown Caf\u00e9<\/i>\u201d and \u201c<i>The Pastor\u2019s Wife<\/i>\u201d; \u201c<i>No One Would Tell<\/i>\u201d and \u201c<i>Van Helsing<\/i>\u201d \u2013 all receiving award nominations for editing. On the television series \u201c<i>Flashpoint,\u00a0<\/i>Lara received a DGC Award and a Gemini nomination.
