He has directed, shot or edited projects for organizations including The CBC, Discovery HD, National Geographic and The National Film Board of Canada.<\/p><p>Andrew has shot on four continents and his work has been broadcast worldwide. He wrote, directed and edited the series &#8220;Cubicle to the Cage&#8221; in which he received a Canadian Screen Award nomination. His short film &#8220;<em>Here and Away<\/em>&#8221; (PBS USA) won multiple audience awards and played on Air Canada flights worldwide.<\/p><p>He edited the acclaimed documentaries, &#8220;<em>The Man of a Thousands Songs<\/em>&#8221; (TIFF 2010), &#8220;<em>Silas<\/em>&#8221; (TIFF 2017, Exec Prod. Leonardo DiCaprio) and &#8220;<em>Gun Runners<\/em>&#8221; (Netflix 2017).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-0f03b31\" data-id=\"0f03b31\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fef78b0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"fef78b0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>He was the cinematographer and editor of the documentary &#8220;<em>Hand.Line.Cod<\/em>&#8221; (TIFF &amp; Berlinale 2016). He was also the cinematographer on the film &#8220;Danny&#8221; and edited the documentary, &#8220;Bad Coyote&#8221; &#8211; Both films were nominated for Canadian Screen Awards.<\/p><p>He most recently wrote and directed the documentary &#8220;<em>Sickboy<\/em>&#8221; Why did you decide to become an editor? I decided to become an editor because I wanted to cut my first documentary and was very curious about the process. But after the first few years of cutting, I realized I maybe had a knack for it. I always felt super comfortable cutting, even when I sucked at it, haha! I just love the power you have to control the emotion of a story.
