The winner of the Editing Award was Jason Karman of the film <em>Lionhood<\/em>.<\/p><p>Jason Karman is a Vancouver-based screenwriter and director whose 16 short films have screened internationally at festivals including the Melbourne Queer Film Festival, Whistler Film Festival, and Telefilm Canada\u2019s Not Short on Talent at Clermont-Ferrand.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-78a0f201 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"78a0f201\" data-element_type=\"section\" worked in documentaries, dramas, thrillers and dance on screen.<\/p><p>In 2011, Jason received the Gerry Brunet Memorial Award at Vancouver Queer Film Festival for <em>I\u2019M IN THE MOOD FOR LOVE<\/em>, and in 2015 was recipient of the Jury Choice Award at Reel Pride Winnipeg for <em>KIMCHI FRIED DUMPLINGS<\/em>.<\/p><p>He is the 2016 recipient of the James Lee Foundation Scholarship and the 2018 Normand Bouchard Memorial Bursary.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column
