Lara has collaborated with some of Canada\u2019s top directors and producers, bringing stories with universal themes to audiences around the world on shows such as: Chris Haddock\u2019s <em>DaVinci\u2019s Inquest<\/em> et <em>Intelligence<\/em>; <em>Strange Empire<\/em> et <em>Arctic Air<\/em>; Norma Bailey\u2019s <em>Daughters of the Country<\/em>, <em>Bordertown Caf\u00e9<\/em> et <em>The Pastor\u2019s Wife<\/em>; <em>No One Would Tell<\/em> et <em>Van Helsing<\/em> \u2013 all receiving award nominations for editing.<\/p><p>On the television series <em>Flashpoint<\/em>, Lara received a DGC Award and a Gemini nomination. On Anne Wheeler\u2019s feature film <em>Suddenly Naked<\/em>, she received a Genie award, and three nominations for editing on Rachel Talaley\u2019s television movie <em>On the Farm<\/em>. In recognition of her body of work, Lara received an award from Women in Film and Television. Lara continues to mentor many emerging filmmakers and give valued advice to many seasoned storytellers.
