pr\u00e9senter <strong>l\u2019EDITCON 2021<\/strong>, la quatri\u00e8me conf\u00e9rence annuelle sur l\u2019art du montage, qui se tiendra en ligne les samedi et dimanche 20 et 21 f\u00e9vrier 2021.<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">L\u2019EDITCON 2021 aborde cette ann\u00e9e le th\u00e8me Un monde \u2014 et une industrie \u2014 en mutation.<\/p><p>Cette ann\u00e9e, nous avons connu des changements sans pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent. La COVID-19 a eu des impacts sur tous les aspects de nos vies et le mouvement Black Lives Matter a port\u00e9 la question de la justice raciale sur la sc\u00e8ne internationale. Notre industrie prend conscience qu\u2019elle doit se faire plus \u00e9quitable et plus inclusive, tant devant que derri\u00e8re la cam\u00e9ra. La fa\u00e7on de raconter les histoires change, et la diffusion change \u00e9galement. Avec la fermeture des salles de cin\u00e9ma et les festivals en ligne, les cin\u00e9philes n\u2019ont d\u2019autre choix que de se tourner vers les plateformes de visionnement en ligne pour assouvir leur passion.<\/p><p>En tant que monteurs et monteuses, nos vies professionnelles ont subi les contrecoups de ces changements. Nous travaillons davantage depuis la maison ou de fa\u00e7on plus isol\u00e9e que jamais. Dans un avenir o\u00f9 les films passeront peut-\u00eatre directement \u00e0 la diffusion en ligne sans s\u2019arr\u00eater dans les salles de cin\u00e9ma, est-ce que les budgets en seront affect\u00e9s? Est-ce que le travail \u00e0 distance a une influence sur le processus cr\u00e9atif et technique et est-ce que notre fa\u00e7on de travailler en sera chang\u00e9e, m\u00eame apr\u00e8s la pand\u00e9mie? Comment pouvons-nous rendre la postproduction \u00e9quitable? L\u2019EditCon 2021 offrira un espace o\u00f9 nous pourrons retisser des liens et explorer les changements qu\u2019ont connus nos vies professionnelles et notre industrie.<\/p><p>En partenariat avec Nordest Studio et leur nouvelle plateforme Neme.TV, nous allons cr\u00e9er une exp\u00e9rience de conf\u00e9rence unique et interactive. En plus de fantastiques tables rondes avec des invit\u00e9.e.s tant canadien.ne.s qu\u2019internationaux.ales, nous organiserons des discussions plus intimes, des sortes de tables rondes r\u00e9duites avec des auditoires restreints pour permettre des discussions plus intimes et pouvoir poser des questions \u00e0 des experts de l\u2019industrie, notamment lors de d\u00e9monstrations technologiques. Au-del\u00e0 des zooms, nous voulons mettre \u00e0 profit les nouvelles technologies afin de cr\u00e9er des exp\u00e9riences de r\u00e9seautage uniques. Il y aura des jeux, des tirages et plus encore pour que cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement ne soit pas un webinaire comme les autres.<\/p><p><strong>Les billets seront en vente \u00e0 partir du 1er janvier 2021.
