I would like to continue on the board, as I have been the CCE treasurer for the past 4 years. During that time, the CCE has maintained a solid financial standing despite unprecedented economic times. I am a member of the awards committee and have been busy with many projects helping the CCE to grow. I believe that between my history and current knowledge of the board operations, I would be an asset, and would like the opportunity to continue to serve the editing community as president.

Also, as a new member of ACE in the US who often works on both sides of the border, I hope to assist in building bridges and forging new relationships between these two great organizations. When I was first entering the world of post production, it was the relationships that I built and fostered that helped guide me to where I am today. If I were to be Western Chair, I’d use that as an opportunity to grow the community so members can feel supported and encouraged to continue learning and taking leaps (big and small) in their careers. It can be hard to leave the comfort of our personal bubbles which is why it’s so important to know there is a safe and open space for like-minded people to share ideas and try something new. Thank you for considering me as an option for Western Chair!
