At least 50% of the editors on this project are Canadian citizens or permanent residents, OR Full Members of the CCE.

My submission does NOT conform to the above requirement, but I would like to request an exemption. I will be sending an exemption request (200-300 words) to info@cceditors.ca. Please note that the email must specify a reason for the exemption.

This work has not been submitted for consideration in previous years.

All entrants have received an eligible on-screen credit. Eligible credits include Editor or Picture Editor. For animated films, Leica Editor, Storyboard Editor, and Animatic Editor are also accepted.

NOTE: A maximum of three (3) entries per entrant per year is permitted. Additional entries will not be considered.

In cases where multiple editors are credited, one editor should be considered the submitting editor and other editors may be listed as additional entrants. List the submitting editor first. In the case of a win, the main editor will receive the physical award, and additional editors listed will have the option to purchase more. 

Note that editing teams larger than 4 people may have their entry listed as "The Editing Team from…" in order to conserve space on trophies, in the program, etc.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:

1. The Entrant warrants that the production is eligible in accordance with the CCE Awards Rules, as contained herein. In any case in which the CCE determines that the information required to be provided by the Entrant is inaccurate or incomplete, and the production is therefore incorrectly entered, the CCE reserves the right to declare the production ineligible to be submitted for nominations for any CCE Award.
2. The Entrant acknowledges and agrees that the CCE may, in its sole discretion, determine that no Awards be given in any category in which the productions entered do not meet CCE standards.
3. The Entrant agrees that the CCE Awards Committee, subject to the approval of the CCE Board, will rule on any dispute in matters relating to the entry, eligibility, nominations, appeals and/or election of any production for an Award. The Entrant acknowledges that the CCE Board’s decision shall be final.
4. The Entrant acknowledges that the CCE Awards Committee reserves the right to amend or modify the rules contained herein at their discretion, subject to the approval of the CCE Board, or at the sole discretion of the CCE Board.
5. The Entrant and all individuals submitted for consideration herein release the CCE and its officers, directors, Awards Committee members and Awards Jury members, employees, representatives and agents from all liability for any reason whatsoever (including, without limitation, for any incidental and consequential damages) in respect of the Entry and its consideration for any Award, including, without limitation, for any negligence or omission in the processing of the Entry or in its consideration for an Award, however caused.
