Students may NOT submit their own applications. Instructors may submit up to two (2) applications on behalf of student editors. See the guidelines below.

To submit a student’s work for consideration for the CCE Student Merit Award, please complete the form below. 

The deadline for all submissions is 5pm ET on Friday April 12, 2024.

Please ensure that your submission conforms to the following eligibility guidelines:

1. Only Full-time students enrolled in a film, TV, or media program are eligible for submission by their instructors.
2. A student may not nominate themselves. An instructor/professor is to consider their student population and nominate up to two student editors whom they feel have shown exemplary effort, enthusiasm and talent in editing, as well as a passion to pursue the craft of editing.
3. For each project being submitted, a separate submission must be completed.
4. Please note that it is the entrant (instructor)’s responsibility to ensure the screening file is technically sound before it is uploaded.
