Sound and Music Editing for Picture Editors with Lesley Mackay Hunter, CCE
This hands-on workshop teaches editors how to creatively integrate dialogue, sound design, and music as core storytelling tools—not finishing touches. Attendees will practice dialogue, sfx and music editing, adding music to their cuts, and designing transitions. Leaving with practical techniques to immediately elevate their story.

-How to collaborate effectively with composers and sound teams (if you have them)

Lesley Mackay Hunter, CCE is a Toronto based, award winning feature film and television editor who has worked almost exclusively in animation — a medium that she loves! She has been fortunate enough to work on many international hit shows including JOHNNY TEST, TOTAL DRAMARAMA, BIG BLUE, THE NUT JOB 2 , ARCTIC DOGS, SAUSAGE PARTY- FOODTOPIA and NIMONA. Beginning her career as an audio editor and composer, she brings a distinctive understanding of the interplay between picture and sound, and is well recognized for her sharp comedic instincts and musical timing.
