LOCATION
EditCon has both In Person and Virtual Events.
In Person events will happen in Vancouver, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Montréal, Toronto and Halifax on Saturday, February 7th, 2026.
Check the event pages for each city to see where it will be hosted in 2026.
Virtual Panels will be available Friday February 6th to Monday February 16th, 2026.
Virtual Breakout Rooms will happen on Sunday, February 8th, 2026.
Each city will have their own schedule for Saturday, February 7th. Please refer to the ticket page for the city you would like to know about.
Everyone is welcome to attend! Including CCE Members, non-members, editors, assistant editors, other post-production professionals, students, friends, family, and anyone else who wants to share in our love of the art of picture editing. CCE Members receive a special discounted ticket price.
In order to be able to provide EditCon across Canada for more members to attend, we had to change locations in Toronto. There were also increased costs at TIFF, so it wasn’t financially viable for us to host there.
TICKETS
We offer 2 ticket types.
Virtual Only Ticket (so you can access the Virtual Panels, Trivia Night and Breakout Rooms)
Virtual/In Person Combo – this ticket gives you access to the Virtual content listed above PLUS the In Person Events in the city closest to you!
Exclusive early-bird discounted tickets for CCE Members will be on sale December 15th, 2025 until January 4th, 2026.
*Member pricing increases January 5th, 2026.
Non Members can purchase Virtual Only Tickets from December 15th, 2025.
Non Members can purchase Virtual/In Person Combo Tickets from January 5th, 2026 *pending availability.
We have 2 ticket options: CCE Member and Non Member. CCE Member tickets are cheaper than Non Member tickets as a membership perk!
We also offer an EARLY BIRD TICKET PRICE for CCE Members! Be sure to get your Early Bird Ticket before January 4th 2026!
